What is in your soaps? 

Our base recipe are made mainly with oils, butters and produce that are derived from vegetables and fruits. We do not use tallow (animal fats) or goats milk, hence our products are 100% vegan.

Unlike commercial soap, handmade soap retains all the Glycerin - a natural skin emollient that attracts moisture to the skin. We do not use harmful synthetic ingredients, carcinogens, mineral oils, parabens or sulphate. 

After all, the skin is our body's biggest organ that is constently exposed to pollution and free radicals, so it deserves nothing but the best.

What is the shelf life of your products?

Our soaps usually stay 'good' for years. However, time does affect the intensity of the scent & aesthetic. Therefore, we recommend that you enjoy your soaps within 1 year of purchase. Remember that we don't use any preservatives in our soaps, so protect them from humidity and extremes of heat and cold.

A full sized bar will typically last between 3-4 weeks and the sample sized will last a week. This is based on normal use. If you're lathering up six different times because you're enjoying the scent and experience, obviously a bar isn't going to last that long! As the saying goes - your mileage may vary. 

Let your soap dry out between uses, by putting your soap on a soap dish or in our Charcoal Foaming Net to extend the soap's lather as well as to allow air to circulate around the bar. Our soaps will last longer if you take care of them!

How do I custom order?

Drop us an email at hello@saltwateratelier.com and provide us with the followings:

  1. Purpose (i.e. wedding favour, baby shower, corporate event, personal stash) 
  2. Quantity (a minimum order of 10 pieces/sets)
  3. Preferred Colours, Scent & Design

 Kindly note that there will be a 20% deposit upon confirmation.

What are your payment methods?

We accept Paypal for overseas payment and Bank Transfer for local (Singapore) payment.

When will my order be shipped?

We normally ship individual customer orders (local & overseas) via Singpost within 3 business days (custom & bulk orders take 2-4 weeks). Orders placed during the festive seasons often take longer, especially if you are ordering customised gift sets that need assembly, or if your order is especially large. We thank you in advance for your understanding.

Can I self-collect in Singapore?

Yes you can! Our pick up location will usually be in Punggol, Tai Seng or Raffles. Kindly contact us at hello@saltwateratelier.com for such arrangements.
